When it comes to Auckland, you must have heard of the famous town of Devonport. This trip is a super chill and super high value line - a ferry ride to the town, walk to the top of Mount Victoria, see 360 degrees open beautiful view, and then taste New Zealand fresh oysters (eat happy hour super cheap!). It was a surprise to feel the beautiful scenery and local lifestyle of Auckland city in one day without spending too much money and time! Attraction Guide Recommendations: Stop 1: Mountain Victoria Located in the small town of Devonport (Address: Auckland 0624 New Zealand), the foot of the mountain is the nearby ferry terminal, which is super convenient. The summit really recommends that you must walk up, although there are some ramps, but there are many flowers and trees along the way, the environment is fresh! As you reach the top, you will see the iconic fort buildings and art installations, and the highlight, with a view of the Auckland CBD skyline, harbor and surrounding bays, is especially beautiful at sunsets! (Open 24 hours a year, don’t worry about time) Real after-use tips: I walked up to the top of the hill to see the scenery. I think Mount Victoria is suitable for walking slowly, not in a hurry, and everywhere is quiet and comfortable. It is recommended to bring water and wear comfortable shoes, the grass to take pictures really has a big feel, mobile phone photos are very beautiful! Second stop: Oyster & Chop After the descent you can go back to the city pier near the pier (recommended time: Oyster & Chop has Happy Hour every day, oysters are super cheap!). The oysters are fresh and smooth, and paired with the shop's special sauce, they taste so fresh! The restaurant has a stylish environment, sitting by the window watching the sea and eating oysters, it feels like New Zealand chill style. Tip: Happy Hour sessions are usually in the afternoon to dusk and it is recommended to make a reservation in advance or go early or you may have to wait. Practical tips for the itinerary: 1. Devonport to the foot of Mount Victoria is just a few minutes’ walk from the ferry terminal. It is recommended to go a little early to avoid the crowds. It will be more comfortable to take pictures at the top of the mountain. 2. Be sure to keep an eye on ferry times (ferries depart from downtown Auckland, about 12 minutes) for easy round trips. 3. Restaurant eat oysters just right to enjoy the sunset, if you sit in the window seat while eating while watching the sea view, the experience plus points. 4. The town of Devonport also has many specialty souvenir shops, coffee shops, enough time to slowly stroll around and feel the Local vibes. #Auckland check-in
