If you rent a vehicle in Tasmania, Budget Car Rental is one of the nearest car rental agency to Devonport, to ease the car return process. Just next to Spirit of Tasmania, Devonport. From Launceston to Devonport, it take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Along the way to Devonport, you can stop by few attractions like Cataract Cruise, Big Penguin. Check-in opens between 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours prior to departure and closes strictly 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Remember to bring a driver’s license or passport etc., as photo ID is required to check in. The cruise reached Melbourne in the next morning.
