Zhejiang Hiking | The most successful trend following with ancient castles and red maples

This is probably the top route recently in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area. I finally checked it out this week, definitely worth a visit👌🏻 The Republic of China-era retro architecture of Moganshan combined with phoenix trees and red maples perfectly blends culture and nature amidst the surrounding peaks~ - 📍Mogawu - Naked Heart Castle - Villa No. 48 - Jiang Gong Ancient Trail📍 The whole route is 8-10 km, takes 4-6 hours, with an elevation gain of 500+ meters 6z feet:🔍 Remember, if you do the reverse route, you must go clockwise! You can get a 🍑 ticket🤫 - The entire loop is not difficult; the first two kilometers are all stairs climbing. After entering the scenic area at Naked Heart Castle, switch to a leisurely autumn viewing mode. After passing Sword Pool, it’s downhill all the way; the path is a bit wild but just go down slowly. I visited one of the classic photo spots, Villa No. 48 (photos are in the track). Due to time, I didn’t visit Villa No. 62 and Silver Bell Cottage. Only after finishing did I realize they are actually near Sword Pool, just a few minutes’ walk away (I marked it on P18). So I’ll leave some regret and rush back next year. - ✔️Tips: 🚗: If you go early, just navigate to "Mogawu." There are private parking spots along the way, charging 20-30 RMB. Although it costs, you can save 2-3 kilometers of walking. On weekends or if you arrive late, you’ll have to park near Yucun. ⛰️: Hiking shoes and trekking poles are necessary; the downhill path is a bit wild and slippery, so be careful and go slowly~ 🍁: The temperature dropped with rain and wind a few days ago; the red maples I saw on Wednesday had already started falling. They probably won’t last past next week. Also, to photograph the maples well, you need sunshine; cloudy weather makes it less impressive. Fortunately, the weather will be good for the next week, so hurry if you want to go!!
