Last week, my friends and I took a trip to Mogan Mountain and unexpectedly found a place like Utopia in the mountains, where we spent two days living the life I had always dreamed of. This Utopia is actually a homestay that integrates music, nature, art, and a warm life. Its core highlight is the rich collection of vinyl records, which is said to have exceeded 1,300 records, covering almost all music styles including classical, pop, rock, jazz, each carrying unique musical memories and emotions. The identities of the two hosts of the homestay are also remarkable. The owner is an aerospace doctor, so you can see many aerospace elements in the homestay, adding a touch of technology and future atmosphere. The hostess is a pastry master, no wonder the afternoon tea desserts here are particularly delicious, and the two lifelike fondant artworks in the lobby are also made by her. The main building of the homestay is a three-story small building with a total of 5 different themed rooms. This time, I stayed in the Bamboo View Vinyl King Room on the second floor. The room is equipped with a vinyl record player and a large viewing terrace, where you can enjoy the bamboo courtyard up close and the mountain scenery in the distance. The courtyard of the homestay is divided into three parts. The garden lawn facing the front hall is the largest, with various camping equipment placed inside. There is also a small courtyard by the water outside the first-floor guest room, surrounded by bamboo and metasequoia, making it a great place to cool off in the summer. The last small courtyard is hidden behind the living room, where you can drink, pet dogs, and watch movies at night. In the past two years, I have stayed in many homestays, and most of the time, there is a sense of distance between the business and the customer. But this time at Orange Moon, I felt like a guest at a friend's house from beginning to end. Listening to a vinyl record, drinking a glass of fine wine, becoming a spiritual villager, everything is so pleasant and beautiful. This encounter with Orange Moon is indeed full of surprises. My friends and I took photos there for an entire afternoon. 2. There is also a cave nearby that resembles something from Interstellar. Wearing a spacesuit and taking photos there feels like landing on Mars. It is 5 kilometers away from Yucun Square, where the iconic clock tower and flying white pigeons make you feel like you have stepped into medieval Europe.
