Platform Cafe

We visited this modern minimalistic cafe and bar which serves cocktails, mocktails, coffee and light food at Darwin some time ago. Love the ambience and aesthetics especially with the presence of ample natural light at the front and dim cosy corners at the back of the drink studio which exudes different atmosphere all in one space. The chill vibes certainly reminds me of the cafes in Korea. Being a lightweight drinker, it’s really awesome to find a bar that serves low-ABV cocktails, so I could imbibe without worrying about flushing red. Rooibos 72 - Rooibos, apple, orange flower water, sparkling sake. Fruity low alcoholic cocktail with a hint of sweetness. Yuzu - Yuzu, coconut chips, dried pineapple, butterfly pea, toasted cinnamon. Non-alcoholic spritz which was fresh and citrusy. The service was impeccable as the staff were constantly checking in with us if everything was alright. The complimentary tapioca chips were definitely icing on the cake! This is certainly a lovely place to chill and a great pit stop to rest your legs especially it’s just a stone’s throw away from Telok Ayer Mrt Station.
