Day 1: Travel from Shangri-La to Yading in Daocheng by bus or rental car. Day 2: Hike the long route in Yading. Most buses depart in the morning and afternoon, around 6:30 AM and 12:30/1:30 PM (check the schedule for the specific month). It’s advisable to buy return tickets upon arrival. Traveling by bus takes longer than renting a car or sharing a ride. Other Tips - Ensure you get enough rest and take things slow. Avoid jumping or strenuous activities as Yading is at a high altitude, which may cause altitude sickness. If you feel unwell, consult the hotel staff or park officials.
