spectacular Yading Sacred Lake at 4543m

Danzhencuo Lake or Five Color Lake (五色海) located at 4543m asl is the highest lake in Yading Nature Reserve, Daocheng County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (Garze 甘孜藏族自治州) in western Sichuan Province. The lake is between Xiannairi Mountain and Jambeyang Mountain. The best way to appreciate the lake scenery is to walk all around…you will not stop taking amazing and stenographic photos! Every shot is different since the mountains at the back change. To get there need 4h hike (time depends on individuals!) a challenging hike, well organized pathway…I did spend a full day based in Yading Village so can start early in the morning and enjoy this pure land! #passionpassport
