Today marks the start of winter again, crossing icy peaks to encounter Daocheng Yading

“Suddenly, autumn colors fade, and the chill gradually enters winter.” The beginning of winter marks the end of autumn and the start of winter, signaling the phenological changes of freezing cold and the retreat of all living things, as well as conveying the beautiful hope of energy accumulation and future growth. Winter is here, are you ready? Located in the Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province, the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area has entered its best viewing season. The Daocheng Yading Scenic Area mainly consists of three snow-capped mountains—Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong, and Xianuoduoji—along with surrounding rivers, lakes, and alpine meadows. It is renowned at home and abroad for its unique pristine ecological environment and majestic, extraordinary, elegant, and beautiful natural scenery. Daocheng Yading is a national 5A-level tourist attraction and belongs to the Yading National Nature Reserve. In July 2003, it was approved by UNESCO as the Yading World Biosphere Reserve.
