Autumn in Yading, a stunning secret paradise

Come to Daocheng Yading to find the autumn of "Shangri-La"🍂, this truly is the last pure land on earth! The misty snow-capped mountains and colorful autumn forests make every shot a masterpiece📸 ⛰️Must-visit spots: 1️⃣ Chonggu Monastery: A Tibetan Buddhist temple at 3,880 meters elevation, with a golden roof shining under the sun✨ 2️⃣ Luorong Pasture: Alpine meadows surrounded by three sacred mountains, most beautiful in the golden autumn of October (Location: inside Yading Scenic Area) 3️⃣ Milk Lake: A high-altitude lake at 4,600 meters, with dreamy blue-green water💙 4️⃣ Five Color Lake: Changes into five colors under sunlight, super magical🌈 5️⃣ Dead Tree Beach: The lonely dead tree with the snow mountain backdrop is basically the postcard of Daocheng (the very tree I photographed!) 🏨Where to stay conveniently? ✔️ Shangri-La Town: Lower altitude (2,900 meters), good for the first night to acclimate ✔️ Yading Village: Inside the scenic area (3,900 meters), snow mountains right outside your window, but altitude sickness is more likely 🚗How to get there? ✈️ Plane: Daocheng Yading Airport (the highest civil airport in the world), then a 1.5-hour taxi ride to the scenic area 🚌 Bus: Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station to Daocheng (12 hours! Recommended to split into two days) ⚠️ Tips: Renting a car is the most convenient, but remember to book your return trip in advance 🍵Must-try foods: ✅ Butter tea (a magic remedy for altitude sickness) ✅ Yak meat hotpot (recommended at "Ama Tibetan Restaurant") ✅ Highland barley cake (available in many shops in Shangri-La Town) ❗Important reminders: 1️⃣ Be sure to bring an oxygen bottle!
