The highlight of this restaurant is definitely its ulam (fresh greens) and crispy fried fish, served with flavorful sambal belacan and their signature budu (fermented anchovy sauce). If you love traditional Malaysian and Thai cuisine, this place is worth a visit. I tried their set meal, which included a variety of ulam, crispy fried fish, and budu. The budu was just right – rich, salty, and packed with umami. But I was a little disappointed as some of the ulam listed on the menu weren’t included in the actual serving. One thing to note is that the price here is slightly higher when converted to MYR. My meal cost around RM45, which is on the pricey side for a simple set. However, the freshness of the ingredients and the cozy, laid-back ambiance make up for it.
