The Wudang Mountains, located in the northwestern region of Shiyan City, Hubei Province, also known as the Great Yue Taihe Mountain, rank first among the four famous Taoist mountains in China. It is the birthplace of the Wudang sect and Tai Chi founded by the ancestor Zhang Sanfeng. Wudang Mountain boasts 72 peaks in the Central Plains, with a majestic presence, and is the place where the True Warrior Emperor (Xuanwu Emperor) of the ancient Xuanyuan period practiced and attained enlightenment.
