Jingchu's premier forest

Yuquan Temple is one of the ancestral courts of the Tiantai sect of Buddhism, and was once known as one of the 'Four Great Temples' along with Zhejiang's Tiantai Guoqing Temple, Shandong's Jinan Lingyan Temple, and Jiangsu's Nanjing Qixia Temple. It is acclaimed as one of the 'Three Famous Mountains of Chu'.
