The Golden & Cave Temple At Dambulla

If Sri Lanka is one of your bucketlist for travel, you will know that there is so much to see and visit in this underrated destination. Sri Lanka is not only well known for tea plantations but also the many historic relics, scriptures, temples and tombs. One place where it is a must visit is the Dambulla Royal Cave Tample and Golden Temple located at Jaffna Hwy, Dambulla. This is a very popular tourists attractions since this is named as one of the world heritage site. I am not sure why but most temples have insane amount of steps where this has 364 steps to reach the Cave. And of course, in most temples you are to show respect to the gods where you are required to cover anything below your hips and do remember to bring sarong or sari I did not see any stores selling these stuff.
