I asked for a large room and a generous serving of fruit, and I was surprised to find that they met both requests! 2. Room selection tips: I was upgraded to a room ending in "21," which is said to be the largest deluxe city-view king room, with an estimated area of no less than 70 square meters (may not be exact). The room has a separate cloakroom and dressing room, and is located in the corner of the south side of the hotel's U-shaped corridor. It has good lighting, so you can enjoy plenty of sunshine and see part of the sea view to the west. It is also far from the elevator, so it is very quiet. If you are looking for a quiet environment, this is a good choice. 3. Food recommendations: - "Siyueju" Japanese Restaurant on the 39th floor: Highly recommended! Both the freshness of the ingredients and the level of service are impeccable. It is recommended to reserve a seat in front of the cooking area in advance and start your meal around 17:00, so you can enjoy the sunset until the lights come on, creating a great atmosphere. During the meal, the chef's introduction to the ingredients, the pace of serving dishes, and the service of clearing plates and refilling tea are all very attentive. There is also a hidden menu here: ramen and fried rice. Before the dessert and fruit are served, the chef will ask if you are full and if you need any staple food. I was almost full at the time, but I still tried the pork bone ramen. The soup was carefully prepared by the restaurant. It was rich but not greasy, and full of collagen. A must-try! If the chef doesn't ask and you want to eat it, just ask. - Breakfast at the all-day dining restaurant on the 40th floor: When you enter the restaurant, remember to walk inside to find the best seats by the window overlooking the sea. The breakfast includes both Western and Chinese dishes. The Eggs Benedict, freshly squeezed carrot juice, clam noodles with green beans (a Dalian specialty), shrimp wontons, and almond croissants are all worth a try. The breads in the baking area are also quite delicious. Nearby attractions: The hotel is in a great location, close to Venice Water City, Donggang Music Fountain, Dalian Art Gallery, Labor Park, Russian Style Street, and Haizhiyun Park. A 10-minute taxi ride will take you to Dalian Railway Station, and it is also convenient to go to Tiger Beach Fisherman's Wharf, Xinghai Square, Fujiazhuang Park, Yinshatan Beach, Dalian Natural History Museum, Lianhuashan Viewing Platform, and Forest Zoo. 5. Fitness and swimming: Be sure to bring your workout clothes, swimsuit, and swimming cap when you check in. The sea-view gym and swimming pool on the 39th floor are great. You can enjoy the sea view while you work out, which is very pleasant. 🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene: Throughout my stay, the soundproofing in the room was excellent, and I could hardly hear any outside or hallway noise.
