Dalian Haizhiyun Park - Dalian's Most Beautiful Coastline

After leaving Fisherman's Wharf, it was already 3 pm. I was leaving Dalian the next day, and I was thinking about where to go with the remaining time. I looked at the map and found that there was a Haizhiyun Park not far from Fisherman's Wharf, so I decided to go and have a look. I was glad I made this decision because I think Haizhiyun Park has the most beautiful coastline in Dalian. Haizhiyun Park is located at the easternmost end of the Dalian Peninsula, surrounded by the sea on three sides, protruding above the sea. The famous Bangchui Island in Dalian is to the south of the park. The park extends from Bangchui Island along the coast to the flat land in the north, covering the entire eastern mountain of the Dalian Peninsula. It is a mountain and sea park where mountains and seas depend on each other. I entered from the south gate of the park. There is a sightseeing car in the park, but I didn't choose it and visited on foot. The road is not far. The entire walking path is paved along the original Binhai North Road. It is about 8 kilometers from the south gate to the north gate of the park. Although it is a mountain road, it is winding and has a low climbing difficulty. In addition, the scenery along the way is beautiful, the trees are lush, and the flowers and plants are fragrant. It is recommended to visit on foot. Along the walking path, four small gardens with their own characteristics, such as Qu Garden, Qi Garden, Chi Garden, and Huaxia Garden, have been built. There are some very design installations, as well as facilities such as small shops, rest benches, and restaurants. It is a good rest and supply station for walking in the park. In the middle of the trail, you can go to Shengxiang Tianmen Beach by crossing a small mountain from the path next to Qi Garden. Unfortunately, when I went there, the trail was under repair and could not be formed. I could only walk to the entrance of the trail and look at the beach at the foot of the mountain from a distance. Climbing along the Qinhai Road from Shengxiang Tianmen Beach, I soon came to Xuri Square. This is the easternmost end of Haizhiyun Park, located on a cliff, and a leisure square has been built. This is the best viewing platform in the entire Haizhiyun Park. Standing on Xuri Square and looking east, the blue sea and the blue sky seem to merge into one, and the blue is intoxicating. Purple flowers are planted outside the guardrail on the edge of the square, adding a touch of bright color to the picture dominated by blue and green tones, making it the most perfect picture. Here you can also look at several small islands in the outer sea of Dalian, such as Bangchui Island, which are like ships and giant whales floating on the sea. Climbing down from the Binhai Road next to Xuri Square, you can reach another beach in Haizhiyun Park - Chenxi Beach. This beach is not long, less than 100 meters wide, with towering cliffs on both sides, and the sound of the waves is like thunder. Here, you can face the eastern sea directly. In the early morning, when the morning light shines here, the beach and cliffs will be dyed golden. Unfortunately, I came in the afternoon today, and I must come in the morning to watch the sunrise next time. Not far from Chenxi Beach, I came to Huaxia Garden. From here, I started to go down the mountain. The mountain road kept circling, and the cliffs on both sides were covered with sculptures of marine life, which were lifelike. Sharks, octopuses, crabs, and other marine life came one after another. The shapes were beautiful, as if they were in the underwater world. This is the Haizhiyun Park North Gate Undersea Grand Canyon Scenic Area, which makes the mountain wall that was once cut open for road construction into a marine life corridor. This design is admirable. Lingering in the Undersea Grand Canyon, I unconsciously reached the north gate of the park. The sun had already set in the west, and Haizhiyun Park left a deep impression on me with its breathtaking coastline, becoming the climax of this trip to Dalian.
