Located on the eastern edge of Erhai Lake near Xizhou Ancient Town, there is a prominent peninsula that is actually a green sandbar about one kilometer long and wide. Its shape resembles a jade hairpin inserted into the shimmering waters of Erhai Lake, and locals call it 'Haitong.' Haitong is a hidden gem with few tourists, offering stunning scenery of blue skies, white clouds, lush greenery, and clear waters, accompanied by water birds. It provides a sense of immersion in nature, and the photos taken here are as beautiful as paintings. Although the lakeside can be quite windy, strolling along the shore is incredibly relaxing and therapeutic.
