Dali Erhai Lake West Line Xizhou Ancient Town One-Day Tour Guide

🙌 Itinerary: Longkan Wharf - Caicun Wharf - Majiuyi - Panxi S Bay - Corridor Bridge (Bridge Tunnel) - Xizhou Ancient Town 📍 Longkan Wharf: You can watch the sunrise 🌅 Remember to check the weather and sunrise time in advance. We couldn't get up, so we didn't see it haha 📍S Bay: There are a lot of people and it feels quite ordinary. The scenery further ahead is also beautiful and there are fewer people. There's no need to spend too much time here. 📍Corridor Bridge: There is a row of bridge tunnels where you can take photos. It's also a very crowded spot, but the photos turn out pretty good. 📍Xizhou Ancient Town: Next to the ancient town is a large field of wheat, where many people take photos. The main attractions are the wheat fields and the corner tower. There are some special snacks in the town (recommended are the bean curd and fresh meat pies, shown in the last two pictures). The fresh meat pies are from a roadside stall. A local said they often come to buy several at a time. I tried an original flavor one and it was indeed delicious 😋! Personally, I feel there's no need to specifically check in at tourist spots. Riding along the West Line of the lake is a beautiful scenery, and every second is healing 🌳 🛵 Transportation: 🌟 Take a taxi from the old town to Longkan Wharf, play, take photos, and check in. This is where we started our bike ride. 🌟 Rent an electric bike from Longkan Wharf. Note that electric bikes rented from outside cannot enter the West Line of the lake, so you can only rent bicycles or scan for electric bikes. 🌟 Ordinary shared electric bikes cost 15r/h (pay attention to the remaining kilometers). There are also dog-shaped electric bikes that cost 30r/half hour (picture 11, which can seat two people, is very stylish and can connect to Bluetooth to play music hhh). 🌟 Ride to the last entrance to Xizhou Ancient Town. There are several exits nearby where people will ask if you are going to Xizhou Ancient Town. If needed, there will be electric cars to take you there. It costs 10r for two people and the distance is about 2 kilometers. It's also a bit of a walk. 🥣 About lunch: We ate near Caicun Wharf at a place called Feifei Private Kitchen (picture 16). The signature dish is fragrant braised chicken and the rose scrambled eggs are also good! Recommended! ⚠️ Precautions: 🌟 Be sure to pay attention to sun protection. The UV rays are very strong. Remember to wear long-sleeved sun protection clothing. It's best to have a mask, hat, and sunglasses all arranged. There will also be some small flying insects while riding.
