Gyesan Cathedral in Daegu

📍Address: 10 Seoseong-ro, Jung-gu, Daegu, South Korea Located between Banwoldang Station and Sinam Station, it faces Daegu First Church, the first Christian church in Daegu, across the street. Gyesan Cathedral, along with Beomeo Cathedral, serves as the co-cathedral of the Archdiocese of Daegu. It is the first Gothic-style building in Daegu. Every March and April, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, it becomes a must-visit spot for cherry blossom viewing. It has also been a filming location for Korean dramas, attracting many fans. Next to the cathedral, there is a chain coffee shop where you can enjoy a cup of coffee and a piece of the famous strawberry cake while sitting by the window, quietly appreciating the silence and solemnity of the cathedral. It is a beautiful experience under the winter sun.
