Day Time In Bana Hills

#wheretogo SunWorld Bana Hills is a resort up on a hill that resembles a french village. Due to it's higher altitude you will be so close to the clouds and mist at times. Upon disembarking from the cable car, you will be greeted at the dome square with a replica of St. Denis Cathedral. It looks so pretty, a drama could be filmed here. Our hotel room was also so close to here. There are street performances around the theme park however our schedules clashes and we didn't manage to see any. Since we stayed over in the hotel at Bana Hills, we woke up at 445am to catch a 6am cable car right down to Golden Bridge, we had the luxury to witness sunrise in an empty resort. It was still cooling and had midst all over, it felt like I was in a dream. It is worth it to stay over if tranquility is your thing and you are willing to wake up.

Ba Na Hills

#bana_hills #danang We went up to Ba Na Hills in mid-February and honestly it was one of the highlights of our trip. The weather was perfect during the day, around 22–25 degrees, nice and cooling compared to the city. But once the sun goes down, it can drop to as low as 8 degrees, so do pack a jumper or light jacket. I actually enjoyed the contrast – daytime felt like a comfortable spring, while night gave off that crisp mountain air which made the place feel even more like Europe. We stayed at one of the hotels up there and breakfast was impressive. The spread was huge, covering everything from local Vietnamese dishes to international choices, so you could try something different each morning. Dinner, however, was a bit tricky. Most shops and restaurants shut down early, around 4–4.30pm, so options at night are very limited. If you’re the type who likes late dinners, best to eat early or at least grab some food before everything closes. As for Ba Na Hills itself, it really does feel like you’ve stepped into another world. The design and scenery make you feel like you’re in a European mountain village – colorful buildings, cobblestone paths, and of course, the famous Golden Bridge with those giant hands holding it up. Walking around, you can see why it’s so popular with families. Kids will love the rides, open spaces, and cable car experience, while adults will enjoy the photo spots and relaxing vibe. At night, if you’re still looking for something to do, the beer garden is the place to be. They serve craft beers and skewers, and it’s just a nice spot to hang out. Sitting there in the cold air with a drink in hand after a long day of exploring was such a vibe. Overall, Ba Na Hills is a must-visit in Da Nang. Just remember: eat early, bring something warm, and take your time enjoying the scenery.
