Visit Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary

The only sanctuary in Australia where you can legally hug a koala (I think) I saw a very good deal on Trip.com for a one-day tour + koala photo session (about 2/3 of the price on the official website) The park is quite large, and there are many different performances to watch. It is not a problem to stay here for a day. I also highly recommend that you go and hug the koala and purchase the electronic file (you may not like what the staff prints out). There are 3 photos in it, which you can download and save yourself. Overall it was a great experience, highly recommended
