Want to travel to Copenhagen but on a tight budget?

📍 Itinerary Overview 🚩 Sightseeing Route 🏖️ Must-Visit Attractions 1. Green Kayak App (location: Kayak Republic) We booked in advanced a date for a FREE kayaking experience — you just have to pick trash up you see in the waters! (Equipment provided) Wear clothes you’re prepared to get wet in, there’s a toilet at the bar that is managing the kayaks. Bring a lock if you want to keep things in their lockers if not you can rent it from them. Avoid the big boats around If not, this spot also rents out kayaks - prices are on the picture! 2. Christiana Town (FREE to explore) This used to be a place where you can’t take any pictures. But now it has transformed into a chill place with lots of food and handmade items for sale! 3. Trinitatis Kirke Beautiful church to enter for FREE - right next to the round tower 🚇 Transportation We walked everywhere! 📷 Photo Spots 🍜 Local Cuisine - I downloaded an app called Early Bird where you can book spots in restaurants at different times for a discount! We had food at Fromberg (fusion food) Ferment (cocktails) Bought rye bread and sourdough bread as a souvenir - if traveling from other European countries! Bought it at Emmerys (on the way to Christiana) 🏠 Accommodation 1.City Hotel Nebo - Not really recommended for long stays but it was enough for a night for three of us - shared bathroom but private room - located right at central station which was convenient 💡 Tips Want to travel to Copenhagen but on a tight budget? Plan for these earlier and also be flexible according to the weather ☀️

Just got back from Copenhagen and honestly… what a vibe. It’s one of those cities that feels super chill but still packed with personality. The whole place is unbelievably clean, everyone’s on bikes, and there’s this low-key cozy energy that just kind of seeps into your bones. Nyhavn is picture-perfect (yes, it’s touristy, but it’s cute so who cares?), and I might’ve eaten my weight in cinnamon buns and smørrebrød. Found this quirky little food market at Reffen that was giving warehouse-meets-street-food-heaven. Also tried to blend in with the locals by sipping coffee in like 4 different minimalist cafés. It felt… aspirational. What surprised me most was how easy the city is to get around. Metro shows up like magic, and people are actually nice when you ask for directions. Christiania was wild in its own way—definitely a side of the city I wasn’t expecting, but glad I saw it. Copenhagen isn’t cheap (like, your wallet will notice), but it’s got that clean, organized, eco-friendly thing going that kind of makes up for it. You just feel healthier being there. Would go back in a heartbeat, maybe with a bit more budgeting next time 😅 #CopenhagenDiaries #ScandiStyle #copenhagen
