A city by the water 💦 Copenhagen 🇩🇰

Previously a Viking fishing village, Copenhagen became Denmark’s most important and popular capital city. Our very first day we visited the colourful harbour in the Nyhavn district, which is one of the city’s most photographed scenic spots, definitely you can’t missed this neighbourhood as it’s instantly recognisable for its vintage boats and rainbow coloured buildings with cafes, bars and restaurants. The day start with a lovely breakfast and freshly baked Danish pastries 🥮 by night cool nightlife in Vesterbro to the green and chic boulevards in Frederiksberg. Charming Østerbro should be added to bucket list for its parks and shopping. The vintage townhouses and picturesque canals are if you’re after, you’ll find many of them in Christianshavn – a district made up of a small cluster of islands. A few places you’ll love visiting and seeing whilst in Copenhagen are; Changing of the guard at Amalienborg Palace, taking a selfie in front of The Little Mermaid statue, boat canal tours and a day in historic Tivoli gardens.
