Don't just visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, Guizhou has more hidden gems!

Many people head straight to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village when they arrive in Guizhou, but I prefer less popular routes, such as Qiandongnan. It is one of the top ten tourist destinations in the world for "returning to nature" selected by the United Nations World Cultural Foundation. There are only two in Asia, and China has two, the other is Tibet. The ethnic customs of Dong Village are rich and lively, full of fireworks and life. The key is that you can enjoy Dong Village in 3 days, which is perfect for a weekend with one day of annual leave, and also great for kids. Itinerary: Day 1: Explore Zhaoxing Dong Village Afternoon: Step into Dong Village and explore the historical traces, drum towers, flower bridges, and theaters, all of which are full of Dong culture. The original residents are simple and hospitable, and when you go deep into it, you feel like you have entered a utopia, full of tradition and romance. Evening: Visit a Dong family and taste "fireplace rice". The lusheng sounds, red eggs are given, and you can chat around the stove, toast and sing, and enjoy the boldness of the mountains and rivers. After dinner, "sing and sit in the moon" and experience a different nightlife. Day 2: Terrace hiking + Yao bath Morning: Get up at six, climb the viewing platform, and enjoy the morning sun of Dong Village and the smoke curling up. After breakfast, walk 5 km along the Tang'an Ancient Road, and the terraces tell the wisdom of the Dong people. Afternoon: Head to Wulipo Yao Village and enjoy a Yao bath.
