🍾Location and background: Domaine Chandon Winery is located in the Yarra Valley wine producing region of Victoria, Australia. It is a winery invested and established by Champagne Moet & Chandon in Australia. It is part of the LVMH Group. 🍾Winery Features: Domaine Chandon is famous for producing sparkling wine, which is brewed using traditional techniques and has the characteristics of French champagne. 🍾History and Origin: In the 1960s, the Moët & Chandon Group began to expand its market outside France on a large scale, establishing Chandon wineries in Argentina, Brazil and California, USA, and achieved great success. In the 1980s, Moët & Chandon recognised the opportunity to produce premium sparkling wine in Australia. After investigation, they finally found the ideal land at the "Green Point" ranch in the Yarra Valley, where the climate is cool and the soil conditions are excellent. In 1986, the land became the site of the winery's vineyards.
