Cochem Germany

Cochem is a beautiful small tourist town located in western Germany, about 170 kilometers from Frankfurt. The town consists of houses situated on both sides of the Moselle River. The Reichsburg Castle, an ancient fortress built on a hill, stands prominently above the town. It has become a popular tourist attraction because it offers a panoramic view of the town below. The old town is also very pleasant to walk around, featuring Half-timbered houses (constructed in the traditional style from the European Middle Ages, with a framework and beams made of hardwood such as teak, and joints secured with large wooden pegs. The exterior and interior walls are wooden, combined with brick or stone walls). Visitors can enjoy taking beautiful photos and there are also restaurants and souvenir shops for shopping.
