Light Through the Trees

#hellohalloween There’s a stretch of garden at the back of the hotel where the light filters through the trees just after sunrise. The grass glows emerald, and the whole place seems washed clean by the night’s rain. I walked that way before breakfast, and it felt like the day was being born around me — quiet but full of promise. By the time I returned, the smell of toast and coffee drifted from the dining room, and I couldn’t help but smile. There’s beauty in starting slow.
