There is a wildlife sanctuary about halfway along the path. There is a free parking lot. There are three restrooms, but sometimes only one is open. The park leads to the west end of the William Clark Trail and a 300-foot pier on the Columbia River. There are five benches with wide gaps between them on the pier. There are many fishing rod racks at the west end of the pier. The scenery up, down, and across the river is beautiful.
