Come to Pushi Hotel to see the underwater ancient city and a different Qiandao Lake

Shicheng Scenic Area, Lakeside Infinity Pool Today's Check-in: Qiandao Lake Wenyuan Shicheng Pushi Hotel During the Qingming holiday, the kids at home wanted to go out and play again. Without much hesitation, we chose the farthest destination—Qiandao Lake. Pushi Hotel is located in Jiangjia Town, Chun'an County, on the westernmost side of Qiandao Lake. If driving from Hangzhou, it takes an extra hour after crossing the Qiandao Lake Bridge. The Wenyuan Shicheng Scenic Area where the hotel is located allows guests to enter directly with a reservation text message. After check-in, the hotel key also grants access; otherwise, tickets are required. There are plenty of parking spots 🅿️ at the hotel entrance. The lobby is called "Five Lions Hall," and the rooms are scattered throughout the scenic area, each opening to a beautiful small courtyard—very charming. The rooms are spacious, perfect for a family of three. Each room has a small balcony with lovely views. The hotel features a massive outdoor pool right next to Qiandao Lake, offering stunning scenery, along with a children's pool. However, the weather hasn’t been warm enough lately, but it should be bustling in summer. Just steps outside the room is the Wenyuan Shicheng Scenic Area. It’s currently the off-season, so it feels a bit quiet, but I heard it gets super lively at night. The scenic area offers insights into the history of the thousand-year-old underwater city and showcases many interesting cultural features related to Qiandao Lake—truly enriching. Beyond the scenic area is Jiangjia Town, home to many well-established restaurants and convenient facilities like gas stations. The hotel’s surroundings easily meet all travel needs, making it very convenient. We stayed for two nights, with breakfast at the hotel’s buffet restaurant. On the first day, due to fewer guests, it was à la carte instead of buffet. The second day had a buffet with a decent variety of dishes—more than enough to enjoy. The hotel also has a Chinese restaurant, but we opted for meals in town this time, so we didn’t try it.
