The goal of this trip to Chongqing was to explore the bustling areas of Hongya Cave and Liberation Monument, and feel the charm of the old town and the night view of Jialing River. So I chose FunGee Joyful River View Hotel (Chongqing Hongyadong Liberation Monument Pedestrian Street Branch) to stay one night. The best selling point of FunGee Joyful River View Hotel is definitely the super beautiful night view and location of the Jialing River. The hotel is located on the 21st floor of Building C, Goldman Wealth Center, 113 Binjiang Road. The door is Hongya Cave. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the Liberation Monument. It is very close to Xiahao Lao Street and Kuixing Building. Chongqing subway and bus are very convenient, to major attractions such as Ciqikou, Chaotianmen is about 30 minutes. In terms of rooms, the hygiene and service were done quite well, the cleaning was clean, the staff was very polite, and they helped immediately when they encountered problems (such as wanting more bath towels or ordering takeaway). The room equipment takes a smart route, with voice control lights, curtains do not have to do your own hands, and there are free drinks, refrigerator, popcorn, ice cream and even at night there is "good night porridge" for your supper. I chose FunGee Joyful River View Hotel for this trip, the reason is simple: Hongya Cave is just outside the door, Jialing River View is excellent, and smart room facilities are comfortable and convenient to stay, suitable for a group of friends or couples to slowly experience the authentic life of Chongqing. The location of the hotel is really great, located on the 21st floor of Building C of Goldman Sachs Wealth Center on Binjiang Road, a few minutes walk from Liberation Monument and Hongya Cave, no need to bother with traffic. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows offer a panoramic view of the night view of the Jialing River. The bustling and lively downstairs, and the quiet and beautiful upstairs are perfect for those who like city walk and take beautiful photos at night. The most special thing is that from the 22nd floor of the hotel, you can go directly to the Quessing Building. The room is designed to take a smart route, voice control lighting, Curtain, air conditioning all work, and free drinks, small fridge and popcorn, ice cream, good night porridge for supper. These thoughtful little details make people feel home as soon as they enter the room, not afraid of getting hungry in the morning. This trip to Chongqing was all about hunting for autumn colors in Banan, and finding a comfortable, value-for-money stay right next to the city's hotspots. If you love classic Chinese autumn vibes—the fiery red maple leaves against elegant traditional architecture, misty rain lingering on old stone paths—then Banan Red Leaf Scenic Area is an absolute must for your itinerary. The main attraction is the vibrant maple forest, especially enchanting in late October to November. Even on drizzly days, the moist air brings out the depth of color on the trees, the red leaves pop against the grey sky and old-style buildings. The best photo spots include close-ups of the leaves dripping with rain, panoramic views of the autumn woods, and mid-distance shots with temple rooftops peeking through branches. For those who like people in their frames, you’ll see plenty of locals and tourists winding through the lanes, umbrellas in hand, wrapped in scarves—very “Chinese autumn” atmosphere. Don’t forget to pack a raincoat or umbrella—the weather in Banan can shift quickly in fall, and the occasional shower only adds more beauty (and fewer crowds).
