Architectural features and historical background The design of Chongqing Guotai Art Center is inspired by the traditional Chinese national style with domination of classic Sichuan notes. The architectural appearance is characterized by the intertwining of black and red “questions”, which looks like a burning bonfire from a distance. Main facilities and functions Cathay Pacific Grand Theater: It includes an 800-seat medium-sized theater and two 350-seat small theaters.The medium-sized theater is mainly used for the performance of musical cabarets and traditional dramas.
