Today, the Fishing Town Ruins is the best-preserved ancient battlefield site in China and has been rated as one of the "Top 10 Cultural Symbols of Chongqing". Fishing Town is located on a peninsula at the confluence of the Jialing, Fu, and Qu Rivers, with a total area of 2.5 square kilometers. There are relics left by the Song and Mongolian armies, such as city gates, city walls, palaces, martial arts yamen, infantry camps, and naval docks, as well as famous attractions such as Diaoyutai, Huguo Temple, and Xuanfo Temple, and relief steles left by the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. 1️⃣ Ruins: Most of the ruins were rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty, and along the mountain are the naval dock, Huguo Mingshan Archway, Shiguan Gate, Huguo Gate, Huguo Temple, Zhongyi Temple, and Shizhao County Yamen. There are also quarries and arsenals that have almost preserved their original appearance from the late Song Dynasty. 2️⃣ Exhibition halls: There are several detailed exhibition halls that fully display the entire process of the Battle of Fishing Town, from Yu Jie building the city, Wang Jian defending the city and killing Mongke, to Wang Li surrendering to the Yuan. 3️⃣ Stone carvings: There is a Tang Dynasty reclining Buddha on the cliff, which is majestic and spectacular; next to it is a cliff with a thousand Buddha statues carved on it, known as the Thousand Buddha Cliff.
