Journey to the Heart of Dreams: Unveiling the Most Beautiful Scars of the Earth

The Longshuixia fissure gorge is truly spectacular! It is an important part of the Wulong Karst World Natural Heritage site, formed millions of years ago by orogenic movements, a typical karst landform. The gorge is super long, at 5 kilometers, but the tour is about 2 kilometers. And wow, this gorge is incredibly deep, ranging from 200 to 500 meters! Walking inside, you can feel the grand scale and the majestic atmosphere, it's really breathtaking! 📍Attraction address: Located 195km east of Chongqing's city center in Wulong County. The scenic area is divided into two core attractions: the sinkhole (Tiankeng - Natural Three Bridges) and the fissure (Longshuixia Fissure). 👍️Must-visit attractions: 🎈Sinkhole: The scenery is truly majestic, with bizarre rocks and a very mysterious vibe. It's also very famous because many of Zhang Yimou's movies and Western blockbusters have been filmed here. Moreover, the entire tour consists of descending stairs, so it's not tiring at all. 🎈Fissure: Our group and other tourists we met all thought the fissure was particularly interesting. We followed the path, and each section had different scenery, giving a feeling of 'holding a pipa half-hidden,' which requires you to explore slowly on your own, making it all the more surprising. Although there are more stairs to climb than in the sinkhole, making it a bit more tiring, it's much more fun! 💗Other tips: 🎈There are few places to eat and drink inside the scenic area, so bring some snacks with you. If you go to the fissure in summer, bring a raincoat, shoe covers, or waterproof shoes, as there are waterfalls and flowing water, so be careful of slippery ground. ✨ After visiting the sinkhole, there's a 15 RMB/person electric cart to the sinkhole exit. If you're not tired, you can skip it and enjoy snacks and drinks at the small shops along the way. It's recommended to visit the sinkhole first and then the fissure. ✨The visiting sequence is: Scenic Area Visitor Center - Bus to the sinkhole - Elevator - Tour the sinkhole - Electric cart or 15-minute walk to the sinkhole exit - Bus to the fissure - Tour the fissure - Bus back to the Visitor Center, with a total duration of 3-4 hours.
