2024 Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Undergraduate Graduation Exhibition

In the era of seeking food and development, art was considered an alien, distant, and unfamiliar concept to the general public, receiving little attention. Today, as more families enter the well-off class, people have higher spiritual pursuits. As the saying goes, 'When the granary is full, one knows what is proper,' the term 'art' appears more frequently in our lives, planting a tiny seed in our hearts and gradually exerting its influence. Bringing art into the ordinary — that is the original intention of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Graduation Exhibition. The most impressive works include the book 'The Hole,' the picture book drawn for the grandmother located to its right (forgot the name, Amitabha, my bad), and the oil painting 'The Answer Drifts in the Wind.' Oil painting artist Wang Chang wrote in the introduction to his work, 'The creative inspiration comes from my feelings towards nature. I hope to paint in 'this moment,' and also hope to live a life in 'this moment.' What a free and uninhibited life, truly living up to his name. The picture book author wrote at the end of the work, 'I dedicate this book to my grandmother, hoping that when we meet again, you have become a seed, become the wind, become the rain, become the sunshine, become a butterfly, appearing in the flower pot on my balcony.' It's touching to the point of bringing tears to one's eyes. In fact, each piece of work is a statement, expressing the thoughts of the author, whether consciously or unconsciously.
