If you're coming to Chongqing for the holiday, consider spending a day on Nanbin Road—it's really worth it! From Houpu to Ma'anshan to Xiahaoli, the scenery along the way is truly nice, and each section has its own beautiful views~ - As a foodie, I've checked out the route for you (it's a bit tricky to find but so delicious). ▪️ Yi Ji Xiang Duck Residence A small, well-reviewed shop that's been open for over a decade under a residential building! I really love their duck feet and wings. ▫️ Tian Xiang Fish Mansion A neighborhood favorite, this local spot serves fish hotpot that people love! Their pepper and Sichuan fish, as well as sour cabbage silver carp, are very good. ▪️ Three Spoonfuls of Sweet Soup Located on the cliffside in Xiahaoli, it's a great spot for photos! Their mango taro sago with peach gum and coconut milk is really generous in portion. ▫️ Pansi Daxian Hidden inside a cave! The dishes are all finely shredded, a nice Sichuan restaurant! Their kidney shreds and Pansi blood curd are really good with rice. ▪️ Shanshan Courtyard A hidden gem of a coffee shop in the mountains! It's well concealed~ I love their lime Americano and mojito. -
