Ciqikou, a historical site in Chongqing, is located in Shapingba District, with a long history and traditional delicacies. Although many people complain about its commercialization, Ciqikou has a history of over a thousand years and is also the birthplace of Shaci culture. If you just rush from the beginning to the end, indeed, you won't get much of an experience... Take my advice, be sure to explore, don't be afraid to walk! Wander deep into the alleys. Ciqikou check-in route: Exit from Exit 1 of Shapingba light rail station, go down on the right, and the left side is fenced off due to the construction of a new subway station. Enter from the back street of Ciqikou (the gate with the big teapot), and head towards the main street and cross street. Remember, never buy the red fruits from the vendors along the way, they are easy to distinguish, the super bright dyed red ones, don't ask why!
