Chitwan National Park

#chillandthrill Chitwan National Park is the first and most popular National Park of Nepal which covers the total area of 952 sq. km. and is 152 km from the capital city Kathmandu. The National Park is mostly covered by Himalayan Subtropical broadleaf forests with the majority of Sal trees. This National Park was established in 1973 by a former king and later in 1984 it was included in the World Heritage Sites.
