Alishan, a famous sunrise and sunset spot

Alishan, located in Taitung, Taiwan You can get there by public transportation, but I rented a car. There are a lot of people on December 31 and January 1, so it's very crowded. I hate crowded places, so I went to see the sunrise on January 2, but I didn't take any pictures of the sunrise. They say there are many mountains over 2,000 meters high in Taiwan, and Alishan here is also a high mountain of 2,451 meters. Of course, I didn't climb that high mountain on my own two feet, but I took a train from my Alishan accommodation to the top. There is a railroad in Alishan, and it is said that it was built when the Japanese occupied the area to transport logs. Now, it is used to transport hikers and tourists, not to transport lumber. It is a spectacular sight with a grove of cedar trees that are tens of meters high and a few meters in circumference.
