Le Méridien Chiang Rai, the only Marriott hotel in Chiang Rai, is located on the banks of the Kok River. The atmosphere is shady because there are two giant rain trees, Mameya and Suk Kasem, providing shade and a cool check-in point for taking photos. There is a fitness center, a swimming pool, and a spa. We stayed in a twin bed room. The room was spacious and had a balcony. In the evening, the housekeeper came to turn down and left two pieces of chocolate for us. It was cute. The highlight of this place is that every room has a bathtub. And every Saturday, there is an art workshop. All guests can join the activity for free. The week we went, they taught us how to make key chains.
