Pay homage to Phra Phuttha Mangrai Chai Mongkhon at Doi Phra Bat Temple

#Travelwithtrip ⛰Wat Doi Phrabat is not clearly evident when it was built, but there is evidence that the temple was established in 1974 and received the royal charter of the boundary of the temple in 1975. 🙏There is a replica of the Buddha's footprint in the temple. There is a legend that the Buddha came to this mountain and left his footprint, so the villagers called this mountain Doi Phrabat. Later, a chedi was built near the Buddha's footprint. 🛕The chedi that we see today is a newly built chedi built over the original ruins. The chedi has a two-tiered lotus base, separated by a lotus pedestal in front of the board supporting the chedi, without recessed corners. 🛕The chedi has niches enshrining Buddha images in all four directions, decorated with Burmese-style niche patterns, with tiers of garlands and vines extending in a style similar to a four-tiered chedi. To the front of the bell-shaped board 🛕 How are the finials, the spires, and the umbrellas decorated with beautiful stained glass patterns in Burmese art style ⛰ There is a railing like a balcony railing blocking the southern base of the chedi chamber. There are Naga stairs extending in all four directions from the lowest base to the southern base. At the lotus base, there are stucco angels. 🛕 Phra That Doi Phra Bat is similar to the pagoda at Wat Chiang Man, Chiang Mai Province, which King Mangrai built.
