Pay homage to the reclining Buddha at Chetawan Temple (Reclining Buddha Temple)

He found a large chedi and a large Bodhi tree. It was a very dense forest. Covering the temple area and flooded. He intended to renovate the temple. So he asked the villagers to build temporary huts. To practice Dhamma in the dry season ⛺ When there were more villagers, he stayed until it became a temple. And named the temple "Wat Chetawan (Pa Daed)" The name "Pa Daed" is because in the dry season, the forest was burned down. So you can see only sunlight. 🛖 Later, Phra Khru Phatthanalangkan Renovated and built various permanent structures in the temple and built the Reclining Buddha in 1948 to offer as a Buddhist offering. The villagers helped for 3 years until it was completed. The villagers called this temple "Wat Phra Non". 🙏Since then, every year on the 15th day of the 6th lunar month, there will be a traditional Reclining Buddha day that has been passed down to the present. On the day, there are sacred buildings and objects that should be worshipped, including: 🏰 The Reclining Buddha Temple, a combination of Lanna and Rattanakosin art. The overall structure of the building is similar to a Lanna building, namely a low building with a gable decorated with carved ornaments and a roof with two layers. 🏰 The Luang Pho Than Chai Temple, inside enshrines the relics of the Lord Buddha. The architectural style is closer to Lanna art than the Reclining Buddha Temple. 🛕 Phra Pancha Mahathat, a five-story pagoda on a plinth made of brick and mortar, similar to the Buddha Gaya pagoda in India and the Wat Chet Yot temple in Chiang Mai, but the surrounding pagodas are bell-shaped. Not a spire or a castle like Wat Chet Yot 📚Inside Wat Chetawan (Reclining Buddha), there is also an educational park in the temple.
