Review of Doi Pui, Chiang Mai

Our trip was a shared taxi from Chiang Mai city. The price depends on the number of people. Round trip to Doi Pui and Doi Suthep is 300 baht/6 people. But when we went, we met 2 other people waiting for us. So we talked about going with only 3 people because we wanted to go in the morning when the weather was still cold. We didn't want to wait. So we paid 500 baht per person. The driver took us to the entrance of the village. There was a coffee shop in front. We had 1.30 am to visit here. Actually, this time is not enough time to explore here. But we had to accept that if we went by ourselves, we would lose our freedom. The village has many souvenirs, clothes, bags, scarves, and other things for sale. Wine starts at 200 baht per bottle. You can try it first. I must say that the price of many things is much cheaper than in the city. Scarves are 50 baht. There are Hmong costumes for rent for 50 baht. There is a photo service. I can't remember how much each picture costs, but it's a bit expensive. Take your own photos if possible. There is a strawberry farm and a cafe. If you have time, come sit and sip coffee. The atmosphere is nice. As for the strawberries, it's a pity that when I went, there were no strawberries to pick. Actually, there is a route to the waterfall, but I didn't have time to go. Overall, I really like the atmosphere here. Go early in the morning when there aren't many people. It's fun. On the way back, stop by Doi Suthep for 1 hour.
