It was built in 2197 by Phra Ya Si Arakhad (Thongdee Si Prasit) at the same time as the founding of Chiang Khan. The buildings include the ordination hall, which is a solid sim made of brick and mortar with a low base and a rectangular plan. The chapel is in the style of Lan Xang mixed with later Ayutthaya. religious objects include a Buddha statue in the Maravijaya posture(Luang Pho Yai), which has long been revealed by the people of Chiang Khan. Chiang Khan in Loei The first place in Loei Province is probably Chiang Khan Walking Street because this is the place that everyone will think of first and is a place to stop and relax the body and mind (I heard many people on Phu Kradueng tell and recommend that it must be Chiang Khan). And because this place may look lively, but I think it is full of peace and quiet, so peaceful that you may lie down and let your body and soul slow down with the place, if you add in the cool and comfortable air. While I was walking in the Mekong River area, I saw the slow life of the accommodations next to the Mekong River (I secretly regret that I did not have the opportunity to stay in this area) because I secretly put off working and planned to sit and work and relax by the Mekong River for a bit. But let's say that I will have to come back again when I have the chance. As for the food, there are many to choose from and there are many delicious things to eat. Everyone says that Chiang Khan Walking Street must have candied coconut, but I think I found something more delicious than that, and that thing is the fragrant and rich flavor of Bua Loi Kai, both sweet and salted eggs. I highly recommend it to everyone.
