Sleep by the Mekong River in a classic retro accommodation

🏘 Suneta Hostel Chiang Khan - Suneta Hostel Chiang Khan, a classic accommodation on the banks of the Mekong River, is still simple and provides a warm and friendly atmosphere like a second home. It is also located on the banks of the Mekong River, allowing a 180-degree view of the river. The front is next to Chiang Khan Walking Street, where we can walk around comfortably. 🏚 The accommodation itself is a 2-storey wooden house that has been renovated but still maintains the identity of Chiang Khan by using various furniture and old pictures to decorate both the common area and the interior of the room in a charming and interesting way. 🐶🐷 I must say that the place where the 2 of us stayed was "Suneta Branch 2", located in Soi 6, near Wat Si Khun Muang. You can park your car at the temple. The accommodation is not far from the temple. It is about 50 meters away. The 2 of us stayed here for 2 nights. The first night we slept in a room on the riverside bank. The atmosphere was very good. There was a balcony where we could come out and see the view of the Mekong River in private. In the room, there is also a bathtub for us to soak in to relax. On the second night, we slept in a room on the lower floor, which was also on the riverside, but the view in front of the room changed a little bit. We had a fish pond to sit and watch along with the Mekong River view. In the room, there was a bathtub, but this room was a clear bathtub. The room on the lower floor was larger than the upper floor where we stayed on the first night. 💯 Even though Sunet Ta is a retro-style accommodation, I must say that the facilities are very complete. There is a TV with Netflix, a bathroom with separate wet/dry zones, a hair dryer, a refrigerator, and a common area with coffee, tea, and ice for us to get at any time. If anyone wants to give alms in the morning, you can inform the accommodation. They will prepare alms for us.
