Chiang Dao Cave Temple ⛰️

Chiang Dao Cave can be visited from 7 am to 5 pm. We started to feel the increasing coldness when we walked up to the entrance of the cave. When we walked into the inside of the cave, there will be a guide to give advice. The cave is divided into 3 zones: - The first route is Tham Phra Non, this route is 360 m long. - The second route is Tham Kaew, Tham Nam, 734 m long. - The third route is Tham Mued, Tham Ma, 735 m long. The zone that you can walk to see by yourself is Route 1. When walking the first route into the deepest part of the cave, there will be an ancient reclining Buddha named Phra Kassapa, built by Mong At, approximately 2 meters long, lying on his back on a platform close to the top of the stairs in the hall. There will be electricity all the way. The other 2 zones are the deep inner cave zones, where we will need a guide and pay a 200 baht fee for a lantern. As for asking for a guide, it is up to us to support it. : Of course, we chose the second option, which is to use the guide service with a lantern. The path in the cave was pitch black with only the light of a small lamp and the sound of breathing. The cold air gradually warmed up a little. We walked along the path that was not too difficult to walk but we still had to be careful because the cave was quite humid. But surprisingly, normally when we go into caves, we often smell bat guano, but this cave did not. : The path went deeper and deeper, but we could breathe normally. Inside the cave, there were many sparkling stalactites and stalagmites. This cave was also where Luang Pu Man Phurithatto traveled to do his asceticism at Chiang Dao Cave. We spent quite a while walking in the cave because we stopped to take pictures and admire the beauty of this cave. The guide took us to various points. The path was not too difficult but we had to be careful. After we walked out of the cave, we walked around the temple for a while before continuing our journey to our accommodation. : For us, this was another place that we liked, whether it was the peace, the shade, or the beauty of the cave. If anyone has the chance to travel to Chiang Dao, we would not want to miss it. : 📌“Pay the electricity maintenance fee of 20 baht per person” (foreigners 40 baht per person) #Guชอบเที่ยว #guliketravel #Tham Luang Chiang Dao #Chiang Mai #Chiang Dao
