Siem Reap Angkor International Airport first opened in 2023, following the closure of the previous Siem Reap International Airport. The airport's facilities and buildings are new, modern, and clean, making it comfortable to spend time waiting for your flight. The airport is located approximately 45 km from the city. You can take the public bus to get to the city, which costs $9 per person. Alternatively, you can rent a private car if the bus is not scheduled to depart when you arrive. I paid $13 for the car for two people, and the driver was kind and very helpful.
