Gaoyiling is a Danxia landform, with red rocks and green water, crisscrossed ravines, and mountains surrounded by water, making for a particularly beautiful landscape. The fastest way to reach the popular Longji Ridge is through the west gate, which is a gate in a small village. If you have good stamina, you can enter from the south gate to experience different scenery. There are small and large loops from the south gate, and Longji Ridge is on the large loop, which is also the intersection of the small and large loops, so you can also see Longji Ridge on the small loop. I only walked the small loop, which took about 2.5 hours.
