Every brick, tile, lamp, and artwork exudes the laid-back, "Bashideban" (perfectly comfortable) Sichuan vibe. The soaring lobby is spacious and bright, adorned with elegant crystal chandeliers casting a soft glow and artistic decor that radiates sophistication. The front desk staff were warm and professional, swiftly completing my check-in. The room was stylishly minimalist, with soothing colors and a perfectly firm bed that melted my stress away. The minibar was well-stocked, and the in-room coffee machine was a dream for a coffee lover like me. The bathroom had a smart wet-dry separation, with steady water pressure in the shower and high-quality toiletries. Drawing back the curtains revealed Chengdu's bustling cityscape—whether the daytime hustle or the glittering night lights, the view was mesmerizing. Dining here is a highlight, with seven distinct restaurants and bars. The Café offers authentic Sichuan, Asian, and Western cuisines, featuring fresh ingredients and refined preparation. No. 8 Hot Pot serves up fiery, aromatic broths that hit the spot with every bite. The Salon lobby bar’s afternoon tea pairs Chinese and Western teas with French pastries for pure indulgence. Leisure facilities are equally impressive: the gym is fully equipped for all workout needs, and the heated pool’s crystal-clear water invites a refreshing dip, followed by relaxation on the nearby loungers. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Chunxi Road, adjacent to IFS and Taikoo Li. A short walk takes you to the viral "Panda Climbing the Wall" sculpture, surrounded by trendy shops and gourmet spots for endless exploration. Other attractions like Kuanzhai Alley and Jinli Ancient Street are also easily accessible. From ambiance to service, dining to amenities, every detail at Grand Hyatt Chengdu exceeded expectations.
