Visiting Chengdu? 🫧 Here's a recommended one-day itinerary for experiencing the slow life.

When in Chengdu, be sure to enjoy its relaxed, slow pace of life. Visit a park loved by locals, have some tea, take a photo at the IFS panda 🐼, stroll along the riverbank, and then find a comfortable hotel to stay in. 🗺️ Itinerary: Wangjianglou Park ➡️ Have tea ➡️ Panda check-in at IFS (Chengdu International Finance Square) ➡️ Evening stroll along the Jinjiang River ➡️ Check in at Jintou Guji First off, you absolutely must set aside half a day in the morning for this traditional-style park!! This is a park that even Chengdu locals love! Everything here is lush green, with vast bamboo groves, simple thatched cottages, small bridges over flowing streams, red walls, and teahouses – it's incredibly photogenic! I think this is the most beautiful spot in Chengdu! I visited this park ⛲️ on my first day in Chengdu. What a pleasant surprise! I got to experience the slow-paced life of Chengdu! 📍Address: Wangjianglou Park South Gate 🎫Tickets: 🆓 🚇: Metro Line 3, Sanguantang Station. Walk from the station. For accommodation, we chose the nearby Jintou Guji Hotel. Checked in around noon. This was formerly a Qing Dynasty courtyard house, a historically protected building over 100 years old. This location is very close to Chunxi Road, Taikoo Li, and Kuanzhai Alley. Exploring the surrounding area is also very convenient. Staying in the courtyard is super chill, and it's so photogenic – any casual shot looks great. Had afternoon tea at the hotel this afternoon 🫖 Experience Chengdu's 🍵 culture and adorable panda desserts After afternoon tea, we went to the giant panda at IFS to take a picture. The line was so long! We just took photos from the side haha 😂 Then walk for a few hundred meters to reach the Jinjiang riverside for a stroll 🚶‍♀️. My first day in Chengdu, I'm really so happy! Breakfast at the hotel the next morning featured lots of Chengdu specialties! Like the beef rice noodles – the beef chunks were huge!
