The Treasure of Sichuan Museum

The museum's treasure is an inlaid bronze pot with banquet, land and water battle patterns. On the body of the bronze pot, which is only 40 centimeters high, more than 200 different human figures are depicted, using inlay techniques to record scenes from the lives of nobles during the Warring States period. This bronze pot is divided into three layers: upper, middle, and lower, separated by a triangular cloud pattern. The upper layer depicts mulberry picking and hunting, the middle layer shows banquets and archery, and the lower layer illustrates land and water battles. Its delicate inlay and superb craftsmanship pioneered a new pattern of bronze decoration art in the Warring States period. There was also a small episode during the visit. I bought a postcard of the bronze pot with land and water battle patterns at the museum, stamped it with a commemorative stamp, but only realized after returning home that it had somehow fallen out of my bag.
