Summer Trip to Rongcheng丨Wuhou Shrinea

Wuhou Shrine is a temple dedicated to Zhuge Liang and is the only temple in the country where both the ruler and his ministers are worshipped together. Wuhou Shrine, located at No. 231 Wuhou Shrine Street, Wuhou District, Chengdu, Sichuan, was originally a shrine dedicated to Zhuge Liang, also known as Kongming Temple, Zhuge Shrine, or Prime Minister's Shrine. It was later merged into a temple where both the ruler and his ministers are worshipped together. Wuhou Shrine consists of four parts: the Temple of Marquis Wu, the Shrine of Wuhou, Huiling, and the Temple of Three Righteousnesses. It is part of the cultural heritage protection area of the Chengdu Wuhou Shrine Museum. Wuhou Shrine is the only temple in China where both the ruler and his ministers are worshipped together and is the most famous memorial site for Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei, and the heroes of Shu Han. It is also the most influential Three Kingdoms relic museum in the country. The Wuhou Shrine scenic area currently covers 150,000 square meters and consists of three parts: the Three Kingdoms Historical Relics Area (Cultural Relics Area), the Western Area (Three Kingdoms Cultural Experience Area), and the Jinli Folk Area (Jinli). It enjoys the reputation of being the 'Holy Land of the Three Kingdoms.' It is also the largest memorial site for the heroes of Shu Han in the country.
